are you sure, you have current 2nd. generation of 6i6. Original Scarlett 6i6 has different drivers and software called Mix Control. Visually there is slightly different front panel and volume control knob is more "shiny" with black notch at 2nd. generation. Its driver is also available from the download section at Focusrite website.
